TRIGGER MECHANISMS/ ACTIONS
Single Action Only (SAO)- Movement of the slide cocks the hammer, or the hammer must be cocked manually example 1911 & Colt Peacemaker.
Double Action (DA)- Pressing the trigger both cocks and releases the hammer, can also fire single action, a revolver example is the Ruger SP101.
